Meet Sophie

Immersed in the lush landscapes and majestic Douglas firs of Portland, Oregon, I've spent the past decade cultivating my passion for garden-based education. Raised by an artist and an entrepreneur in a blend of urban, suburban, and rural settings, I've been driven to foster children's connection to nature, food, and their own unique identities. In 2021, I earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy, fueled by a dream to intertwine hands-on, nature-based learning with art and nutrition.

When I'm not sharing my love for the environment in schools, you'll find me hiking with my faithful companion, Stella, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or adding flowers to my vibrant garden oasis.
